Three Women Join the Faculty at the University of North Carolina Asheville

The University of North Carolina at Asheville has added five new faculty members this fall. Of this group, three are women.
Tiece Ruffin is a new assistant professor of education. Previously, she was a special education teacher at the K-12 level. Dr. Ruffin is a graduate of Ohio University. She holds a master’s degree and a doctorate from Pennsylvania State University.
Lyndi Hewitt is an assistant professor of sociology. She holds bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. degrees, all from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Jackie Langille is an assistant professor of environmental studies. She is a graduate of Idaho State University and holds a master’s degree from Central Washington University in Ellensburg and a Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
