Faculty News: Three Women in New Roles

Alexandria Lewis was appointed assistant professor of psychiatry at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond. She was also named director of the Virginia Treatment Center for Children at the university. She was the executive director of the McHenry County Mental Health Board.
Dr. Lewis is a graduate of George Williams College. She holds a master’s degree in public administration from Roosevelt University and a doctorate in education from Aurora University.
Baretta Casey, professor of family and community medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and professor of health behavior, health systems management and preventive medicine at the College of Public Health at the University of Kentucky, was elected chair of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. The council is responsible for the accreditation of post-MD medical training programs in the United States.
Dr. Casey is a graduate of the University of Pikeville in Kentucky. She holds master of public health and medical degrees from the University of Kentucky.
Margaret Donnelly was named practitioner-in-residence at the Saint Louis University School of Law. She has been serving as director of the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. She served for six years as an elected member of the Missouri House of Representatives.
Donnelly holds bachelor’s, master’s, and law degrees from Saint Louis University.
