University of Wisconsin Milwaukee Administrator Named to United Nations Post

Joan M. Prince, vice chancellor for global inclusion and engagement at the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee, was named alternate representative of the United States for the 67th Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations. She will hold the rank of ambassador and begins work in New York this week.
Prince has been an administrator at the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee since 2000. She holds a bachelor’s degree in medical technology, a master’s degree in clinical laboratory sciences, and a doctorate in urban education, all from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee.
