University of Vermont Names Four Women to Assistant Professor Positions

The University of Vermont has announced the appointment of four women to assistant professor positions.

Stephanie McKay was appointed assistant professor of animal science. She was a postdoctoral fellow in animal genomics at the University of Missouri.

Dr. McKay is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where she double majored in biochemistry and genetics. She earned a master’s degree in veterinary microbiology at Texas A&M and a Ph.D. in animal science from the University of Alberta in Canada.

Melissa Willard-Foster is a new assistant professor of political science. She was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Dr. Foster is a graduate of Georgetown University. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Chicago and a Ph.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Lindsey Moses is a new assistant professor of education. She was an assistant professor of early childhood education at the University of Northern Colorado.

Dr. Moses earned a master’s degree and an educational doctorate at the University of Northern Colorado.

Sabrina Greenwood was named an assistant professor of animal science. She is teaching courses on nutrition and feeding as well as animal metabolism.

Dr. Greenwood holds a bachelor’s degree and a Ph.D. from the University of Guelph in Canada. She also earned a master’s degree at the University of Alberta.
