Iranian Women Excluded From 77 Fields of University Study

The nation of Iran has announced that women will be excluded from 77 fields of study at the nation’s universities. Subjects from which women have been banned include engineering, chemistry, petroleum studies, forestry, natural resources, and mathematics.
Women make up about 60 percent of all universities enrollments in Iran. Abolfazi Hasani, an educational official in the Iranian government, stated, “Some fields are not very suitable for women’s nature.”
